Upon creating the game, I discovered it was increasingly popular among my pot-smoking friends. To raise awareness of the app, I asked various networks of pot dealers in NYC to put Stupid Words stickers on their products. This media placement has led to thousands of downloads. While this unorthodox approach wouldn't work with most (if not all) clients, it has certainly led to an increase in in-app purchases post 10PM.
